About Australian Call Ducks

History

Australian Call ducks are not genetically related to other Calls around the world. They were developed independently by a South Australian farmer who bred Mallards. He noticed that some of his flock were exceptionally small with short bills, so he bred them to continue the line of bantam ducks. This is where the story all began.

Colours

Australian Call ducks have different colour variations and standards from other ducks around the world. This is why we have published our own book about Australian Call ducks.
